It has been a very busy month for everyone at Love All Animals! We've had a lot of technical problems. We are still working on our website. We are currently looking for people interested in working on the website. E-mail jobs, for more information. We recently sent a letter to everyone in Love All Animals database with information on protests. We are currently working on coordinating protests in every state in the US, and are looking for volunteers. Our Campaign Department is lacking. We have 6 dedicated people, and need more! We have 21 volunteers and with the projects that we are trying to work on, we need all the help we can get. I have been doing a lot of work on campaigns, and I work 5 hours a day, and still feel that I am getting nothing accomplished. If you are willing to help with any of the following projects please e-mail me (Ryan) or e-mail Jobs. We can use all the help we can get, even if it is 15 minutes a week. We are looking for dedicated people looking to make a difference in the world of animal rights. The first main project that we are working on is our national phone survey. You may remember that this was going to start on November 1, 2000 and it was postponed. We are still deciding on a date but it still will go for 6 months. Our focus of this is animal testing; we would like to get the public's opinion on animal testing. On our website we will have a place where people will be able to take this survey. We currently do not have a vegetarian campaign coordinator. I have been working hard to keep this campaign going, I am starting to plan some vegetarian protests against Burger King, and many other places. We are looking for dedicated people to work with other volunteers on this campaign. Open jobs in this campaign are: Vegetarian Campaign Coordinator Assistant Campaign Coordinator Our third project is a rather large project in honor of the World Week for Lab Animals. On April 24 - 29, 2001, Love All Animals will help coordinate many protests in Cincinnati. We have also invited Steve Hindi, founder of SHARK (www.sharkonline.org). Our events will be listed on our website. We are looking for people to help with this committee. Our final project to be outlined in this e-mail is CompassionFest 2001. LAA and IDA are co-sponsoring the first ever CompassionFest. Ryan Courtade, developed the idea after his first Procter and Gamble protest. We feel that protests have an impact on the company and the people, but CompassionFest2001 will be a festival of vegetarian food, speakers, tables of information, and much more. This year's CompassionFest will be hosted in Cincinnati, OH. We have a large database of people interested in helping, and we are still looking for more people. Check on progress of the coordinators and keeps track of all protests. Corporate Messenger- reports to president. Sends out all messages to all the departments from the president and relays messages from departments to president. Suggestion Box - reports to Corporate Department. Analysis all suggestions and sorts them and delivers them to the corporate messenger. Website Department Web Designers - Reports to Website Master Helps with any scripting of Love All Animals website. Coordinating Department Coordinator Department Director- Reports to Executive. Review all protests, and reports all protests to Executive. Circus Campaign Coordinator- reports to Coordinator Director. Helps organize demonstrations and helps educate others on animal abuse in the circus. Vegetarian/Vegan Campaign Coordinator- reports to Coordinator Director. Helps organize demonstrations and helps educate others on vegetarian/vegan beliefs. Proctor and Gamble Campaign Coordinator - reports to Coordinator Director. Helps organize demonstrations and helps educate others on animal experimentation. Fur Campaign Coordinator - Coordinator Assistants - assists all Campaign Coordinators, must be ready to do all the dirty and boring work. Advertisement Department Advertisers- reports to Advisor- Sends out and posts advertisements. Advertisement Designers- reports to Advisor. Designs advertisements. Newsletter Department Weird Pet Finder- reports to newsletter director. Writes articles about pets with weird talents or abilities. Dear Doctor- reports to newsletter director. Answers questions about pets. Article Writer- reports to newsletter director. Writes articles about animals. A-Z Close Ups- reports to newsletter director. Writes article about animals in special categories. Animal Organizations- reports to newsletter director. Writes an article about animal rights organizations. Animal Jokes- reports to newsletter director. Finds jokes about animals. Animal of the Quarter - reports to newsletter director. Writes an article about a specific animal every quarter. Questions and Answers- reports to newsletter director. Answers specific questions about animals. Exotic Animals - reports to newsletter director. Writes an article about a specific animal they feel is exotic. Interesting Facts - reports to newsletter director. Writes about interesting facts about animals. Recipes - talks about vegetarian/vegan recipes. Research Department Research Director - reports to president. Overlooks Research Department and reports to Chair. Researchers- reports to director. Finds information for anyone in Love All Animals. Legislative Department Legislative Director - Reports to President. Overlooks progress of Legislative. Reports progress to Chair.
