Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That chapter 435 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit persons from placing dogs in the back of open pick-up trucks on public roads. Statement of Purpose: To prevent injury to dogs and possible traffic accidents. Please contact your state senators and representatives and ask them to support this bill.
