Amazon supports puppy mills by allowing mills and brokers to be " affiliates. " Amazon pays them, and that money goes right back into causing more dogs to suffer. And they allow live animals to be auctioned at its auction site. I work with an anti-puppy mill group called Critter Haven (www.critterhaven.org), and even after we had lots of correspondence and pointed out to Amazon why this was a problem, they refused to alter their policies. Barnes & Noble's online bookseller dumped its puppy mill affiliates as soon as they were educated about the problem. eBay and auctions don't allow live animals. And check out <bestedeal.com>, you can get books a lot cheaper than Amazon. Auctions - Buy the things you want at great prices! http://auctions./
