High-Fat Diets Linked to Poorer Brain Function

NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - New animal research suggests that fat-laden

meal plans can take a toll on the brain by effectively starving it of

its energy supply.

Fatty diets have well-known health consequences, such as obesity and

heart disease. Most nutrition experts recommend diets rich in

carbohydrate sources such as vegetables, fruits and whole grains to

promote overall health. Now, researchers at the University of Toronto

report that fat-filled, carbohydrate-poor diets may impair brain

function over time.

For the sake of all that's holy - did they really have to do animal

experiments to find that out? Wake up friends, just go into your local

McDonald's all the evidence you could ever want will be right in front of

you. And you won't need to torment animals to get it.

Ye Gods!
