Guest guest
While I have not kept up on all the debate about 'not-so pleasant things' I must say that I object to the assumption made below by consciouseffert. To definitively make the claim that one is not committed to a cause, vegan or otherwise, simply because of an " angry reply " or because of a difference in opinions seems to be horribly closeminded and highly problematic. Not to say that I don't think Belle's reply was petty as being well as an unnecessary stab at consciouseffert, but I don't think that making a judgment call about someone's level of commitment is the right way to deal with this. Divergence and debate within any movement is something that should be welcomed and embraced, not looked down upon. I can't help but think that closemindedness about topics such as these is only going to force people out.. Let's fight the good fight, not each other - Brandy > What an angry reply.
