Guest guest
Just a reminder...Planet-Vegan list guidelines ---> Please try to stay on topic. The list is for sharing news, events, thoughts, ideas, questions, recipes etc. relating to veganism and animal rights. Veganism can be a broad topic and it sometimes seems that it relates to everything, however I'd like to keep it as close as possible to the " big three " vegan topics - ethics, health, and environment. ---> We share this list with approximately 150 rs who are here to discuss veganism and animal rights. Take a moment to think about your post. Is it something list members would be interested in, or would it be best to send your post privately? Comments like " cool " , or " thank you " , or " that sucks " etc. are better off sent to the person intended to read them. ---> When replying to a post, please trim your emails. This means delete everything you are not responding to, including especially all that extra stuff that Onelist includes at the bottom. ---> Make subject lines descriptive. People should get an idea of your message from glancing at the subject line. " Hi " is not as good as, " Consumer Reports Finds 71% of Store-Bought Chicken Contains Harmful Bacteria " , for example. ---> As a courtesy please do not send: chain letters, email petitions, virus warnings, hoaxes, urban legends, attachments, flames or harassment, off-topic advertising messages etc. Any questions or concerns, just ask me or Anji! Thanks!
Guest guest
I've decided to from this list; it just feels a bit too restricted to me. All lists have a theme, and there is a need for a degree of moderation; but here I think the guidelines are emphasized too frequently, and even questionably. No offense to anyone, but if those topics which make us examine our deeper issues are not brought out and discussed freely, what is the point in discussion at all? Just something to consider. Take care, all, I'm sure I'll encounter many of you elsewhere in the wild world of internet ethics. Peace and Blessings, Love and Light, Robyn Unicorn Thunderchild.
