Every year, the TREASURY MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION OF NEW

ENGLAND (TMANE), a group of banking professionals,

holds it annual conference in Boston. Different banks

and financial institutions send their employees to

this

conference to learn more about banking and to be

featured as exhibitors to recruit future employees.

 

BANK OF NEW YORK is one of the featured exhibitors at

the conference this year. As the American Depository

Recipient (ADR), Bank of New York enables citizens of

the US to hold shares in Huntingdon Life Sciences

(HLS). If Bank of New York were to stop acting as the

ADR for HLS, HLS would face certain financial run as

many of their major financiers are based in the United

States.

 

The TMANE conference begins Wednesday, May 9th and

runs till Friday, May 11th in Boston. Please email

and phone the Treasury Management Association of New

England all week long and demand that they no longer

allow Bank of New York to participate in these

conferences until the Bank of New York stops

supporting the murder of over 180,000 animals each

year.

 

Let Bank of New York and any other financial

institutions know that we will go where ever they are

so long as they support HLS!!

I am shocked at your organization's affiliation with

the Bank of New York. As the American Depository

Recipient for Huntingdon Life Sciences, the Bank of

New York knowingly contributes to the murder of

approximately 500 animals every day.

 

This past year, Huntingdon Life Sciences was knocked

off the New York Stock Exchange and they neared

bankruptcy. Through its work as the ADR, Bank of New

York enabled a US investment firm to save Huntingdon

Life Sciences and to continue the slaughter of

innocent animals. By allowing Bank of New York to

participate in your annual conference in Boston,

your organization acknowledges that it accepts

Huntingdon Life Sciences as a viable investment.

Financial institutions such as Citigroup, HSBC,

Merrill Lynch, Royal Bank of Scotland, Natwest Bank,

Charles Scwab, and many others would not agree with

you.

 

Since your conference is designed to educate others in

the banking industry regarding sound financial

investments and investment techniques, allowing the

Bank of New York to exhibit at your conference

demonstrates that you are ignoring the poor financial

action that Bank of New York has taken in acting as

the ADR of Huntingdon Life Sciences. Please ask Bank

of New York not to attend the TMANE conference in

Boston this May and refuse to allow them to return

until they stop acting as the ADR for Huntingdon Life

Sciences.
