Guest guest
Discussions? I enjoy them. This is a group not a recipe book. jon if you wish to be totally boring go buy a recipe book or visit your library. This is a place to learn - the chicken discussion was prompted by a question that I'm glad to see that person felt free to ask. Vegetarianism is often for moral reasons, and there's a lot of problem sorting out our foods into what they are with all the derivations of their ingredients. A lot of things are hidden under euphemisms. I'll ask again - why don't we flag our recipe messages with " recipe for " in the subject line? that way you can just read those! Thanks everyone for a wonderful forum. Guest guest
Well, I certainly didn't mean to spark any flames by asking that question, but I do happen to be the type who can tolerate aspects and feelings of others. Variety is the spice of life, after all. I asked the question because I enjoy learning about different subjects that I know little about. I assumed there would be alot of tolerance on a list in which there are vegetarians, vegans, and even those who are doing it for health reasons. Religion can be such a touchy subject...so that is something that I avoid completely because it usually results in an outburt, and list groups are notorious for being volatile from time to time. I think this is a great group. I can tell you up front that if I see something I don't agree with or am not interested in...there is always the option of ignoring it, and we'll all get along. :) Gina --- " Hards, Victoria L " <vlh wrote: > Discussions? Guest guest
Exactly. I don't understand people who take a FREE list, or any list so seriously. It's just a list, it's not that important. Who cares, just delete the posts you don't want to read. I too don't get upset when there's a discussion. I learn. I can't stand highly moderated lists & won't be on them. I like people to be able to be themselves without fear of repercussion. " Gina M. Guest guest
Lunch ideas for Dave: Sandwiches with hummus and tomatoes and sprouts or lettuce, alternate with sandwiches with baba ganoush and tomatoes with sprouts or lettuce. Soup in a thermos with bread on the side. Sandwiches with baked, chopped tofu, maybe with lettuce, etc...Peanut butter and jelly or bannana. In summer, avocado and tomatoe sandwiches rule. Hope it helps. - Tuesday, September 17, 2002 11:22 PM Digest Number 799 > > > Post message: > Subscribe: - > Un: - > List owner: -owner > > Shortcut URL to this page: > /community/ > ------ > > There are 3 messages in this issue. > > Topics in this digest: > > 1.
