The commercial MEAT FACTORY is a weekly politics/obscure music radio show. It is

our intention to bring our community awareness about human, earth and animal

liberation as well as fill your mind with enticing and obscure, yet sometimes

absurd music.

The show airs Fridays from 5-7 pm PST on WPMD 1700 AM and worldwide on the web

at www.cerritos.edu/wpmd The first hour is our community forum and the second

belongs to the noise. WPMD 1700 AM is available to over half a million residents

of Cerritos, Artesia, Bellflower, Paramount, Downey, La Mirada, Norwalk,Hawaiian

Gardens, Lakewood and parts of Long Beach & Whittier, California.

This weeks guests include the following people:

We are extremely excited to announce that tomorrow, we'll have Cuarte & Javier,

two East Los Angeles Chicano youths who traveled to Palestine to help the

Palestinian people deal with life under Israeli occupation. Their experiences

range from standing in front of Israeli tanks to freeing youth from Israeli

detention, from carrying a young man's murdered body out of his house to helping

the Palestinian people defy curfew to staying and living with Palestinian people

in their homes - homes that were being targeted for demolition.

They will also be appearing on our favorite cohorts radio show Silver Spleens on

Saturday at 2:00 PM PST. More info on the Silver Spleens show at

MUSICAL GUESTS: SQUEAK TOY @ 6:30. Squeak Toy is a phenomenal experimental art

punk band from Long Beach. Listen while you trip.
