raw food question

i can understand the benefits of lots of fruit and raw veggies. i don't mean

to dis raw foodists but no bread, beans or grains? only uncooked tofu? i

don't get the motivation behind it.

Grains and beans can be eaten, if sprouted, and quite nutrional this way as

well. I eat more sprouted beans than not these days..

 

All tofu is considered cooked, since it's made from soymilk which is cooked.

Considering we're the only species on the planet that cooks food, and that

up until a few thousand years ago we ate mostly or all raw as well, it makes

perfect sense to me.
