Guest guest
Dear friends, As you may be aware, the Lok Ayukta has really stirred Hornets nests and challenged us into a united action. This is a great opportunity to rally around and prove that we do not take things lying down. Hence, we need to get our acts together against the injustice and see to it that no body ever tries such tricks again!! Over the past few days, several organisations, groups and individuals have contacted us expressing their deep anguish against such frivolous, biased and prejudiced report. Accordingly, we have decided to join under one umbrella and decided to launch a series of agitations, awareness campaigns and what not? To begin with, a mass rally has been proposed on 29th March 2003 at 10 a.m commencing from Victoria Statue at Cubbon Park and walking upto the Raj Bhavan to present a memorandum to the Governor of Karnataka. Please ensure that you are there and bring all your friends along. No bar on our loved ones - canine friends!!. We will also meet the press and announce the future course of action after submission. We are in process of preparing a details report giving details of how facts and figures have been distorted and used by the Lok Ayukta in his report. The report along with some more required information is being prepared for circulation to the public. Plans are also afoot to meet celebrities, distinguished personalities, reputed organisations working in various fields, artists, cartoonists, environmentalist et all into one platform and issue an appeal. Request all of you to pitch in with your ideas and contacts to take on Lok-Ayukta. You could get in touch with me on this. Two elected representatives -MLA's (Mr.P.C.Mohan - Chickpet and Mr.R.Ashok - Uttarahalli both of the BJP) have remarked about the report in the assembly and the Chief Minister has replied fittingly with statistics and facts that we are happy about. Minister for Urban Development Mr.D.K.Shivakumar too has rallied behind the Chief Minister. To see that this disease does not spread, we have thought it fitting to forewarn them not to talk out of turn and sought an opportunity to address them, Incase they ignore and still continue, we have also threatened that our group would decide to launch a campaign against them during the next election asking people to boycott them. Apart from these our legal process is also on and efforts in this direction will also be expedited. So we are charged with the ferver and energy required to get success. After all the `Dharma Yudh' will always be won by the righteous!!
