Guest guest
Raw and Living-Foods Vegan Eco-Village Forming! I thought this might be of interest to some of you who may feel as I do, that living in today's society and attempting to be an ethical and/or health motivated vegan is difficult to impossible and have dreamed of having a place to call your own. Waking up in the mornings, it's getting harder to look in the mirror and feel that I am living within my value systems, to that end, I'm getting together people in order to start a new Eco-Village in beautiful tropical Belize (Central America) called " Adahy Wakiza " (formed from the Cherokee words for " Lives in the Woods " and " Determined Warrior " ). Diets will be primarily raw, whole, vegan-organic (no animal inputs!), wild-crafted and wild-harvested vegetarian (vegan) foods. The village will be completely sustainable and self-sufficient. Several non-profit oriented programs will be administered from Adahy Wakiza, including a Wildlife Sanctuary/Nature Preserve for endangered rainforest flora and fauna, sustainability training center, and raw vegan education and outreach services. Adahy Wakiza is a unique and exciting project. Adahy Wakiza will be a primitive tribal eco-village/intentional community, training center, activist center, healing retreat, wildlife sanctuary/nature reserve and native permaculture forest farm. We will be based upon a hybrid Conservation and Community Land Trust model. Of the 166 acres of land we are currently interested in, there are 25 acres agrarian/semi-agrarian use, and the other land will be preserved as a Wildlife sanctuary and Nature Reserve. We plan to expand on our land in the future in order to widen the area of the Wildlife Sanctuary and Nature Reserve. Become indigenous with the land, not just in spirit, but in practice. Don't just talk about it, live it! ESCAPE NOW! Choose your jungle: Concrete, or Wood!
