That one's repulsive! El Pollo Loco uses a chicken as a mascot as well. I hate all of these places, all of these corporations..... like it's fun and happy to have puppet chickens telling you to eat chicken........ it teaches children not to have compassion for animals, also does the same for adults. The other thing that really burns me up is in CA they have these commercials that show these beautiful healthy cows on a pasture acres and acres wide of green, green grass, getting water from the sprinklers as they, in slow motion, love the spray of water........ and yet, when I did an investigation into CA dairy farms, the poor cows were standing in their own feces, up to their knees, the only drinking water was BLACK - mud and feces - and there was no grass in sight. Yet the commercial says " Happy cows come from California. " I took pictures and sent them to all the AR organizations I knew of... I know PETA is suing them for airing these lying commercials. Anyway, I could ramble on forever about this subject so I'd better end it here. Glad to see someone else is as upset about this as I am. ~ Jo ---------------------- Reasons I have chosen veganism as a way of life for myself and my family: www.dumpdairy.com www.milksucks.com www.goveg.com http://www.helpinganimals.com/ http://www.stopanimaltests.com/ http://www.furisdead.com/ http://action.fund.org/action/ind\ ex.asp http://www.animalsvoice.com/ http://www.commandochicks.com/ http://www.notmilk.com/ http://www.pcrm.org/ http://www.vegsource.com/ http://www.veganoutreach.com/ http://www3.mistral.co.uk/t\ raub/faqvegan.html http://www.vegan.com/ http://www.vegan.org/ http://www.coolvegan.com/ Meet Your Meat: http://www.goveg.com/mym-hi.rm Subscribe to my Vegan_Animal_Rights today: Vegan_Animal_Rights/
