Invitation to join Veggie Jews

You are invited to join a new group for Jewish vegetarians, vegans

and those interested in vegetarianism. This group is associated with

Veggie Jews and can be accessed at

www.veggiejews. Veggie Jews is dedicated to

providing a support group for Jewish vegetarians and vegans and spreading

vegetarian/vegan consciousness into the Jewish community. The group exists

both online as a group through which members can easily communicate

with the group and as a community group with periodic local events. Veggie

Jews is not a singles or religious group, but single and religious people

are always welcome at events as are our non-Jewish friends. Many of our

events are organized by volunteers and membership is free.

 

Membership in the group part of Veggie Jews will guarantee that you

receive invitations to Veggie Jews community events. It will also allow you

to post on-topic e-mails to the group and, if you wish, receive e-mails from

other group members.

 

The group was established in San Francisco but we would like to organize

events in other cities nationwide. Please check out the Veggie Jews

group site and consider joining. If you're not in the San Francisco Bay

Area, consider working with us to plan local events where you are. By

working together we can make a difference.
