Please, find SOMEONE to go over and save even one of these dogs.  Or call to

save one and have him/her boarded or flown to you on Delta airlines (only

about 100 dollars to fly them across country).  We are trying to work out a

mercy

airlift to take these animals to Minnesota, but time is up as you can see:

NOW! She said ALL OF YOU, she has NINE new dogs coming in with their

PUPPIES as well, and she is going to have to KILL ALL OF THE BIG DOGS TODAY, IF

WEST VIRGINIA EMERGENCY: (We are planning mercy airlift of some of these

refugees to Minnesota....we need people who will agree to

adopt/foster....let me know which ones you will help)  Otherwise, please

send this to everyone you know to get people out to that shelter to save a

life.  This is critical.

This situation is so extreme, it's hard to believe.  But it's true!  The

Marion County Humane Society in Fairmont, West Virginia is a small, rural

shelter.  Right now, this tiny facility has 195 animals - puppies, kittens,

adult cats and dogs.  If some of these do not move out into rescues or

adoptive homes IMMEDIATELY, they are not going to leave that shelter alive!

 

A partial list of dogs includes:

 

Balto - male Husky Mix - playful boy, LOVES other animals!

Bear - male Husky Mix

Blackie - senior male beagle mix - 15 years old, a total sweetheart. Needs

help soon!

Byron - young male GSD

Cali - female chow mix - urgent

Chewie - adult male GSD mix - been there a long time, VERY URGENT!

Diego - male GSD x

Kilarney - young female Rottweiler - really needs to get out!

Maggie - young female Beagle/Foxhound x - Adorable!

Misha - female Amstaff - spent most of her life on a chain. Don't let her

die!

Momma - young female Lab/Amstaff x- they found her, but not her babies.

She's lonely and needs a home.

Nero - adult male Husky/Shep x - taken from an abusive home, now on death

row!

Princess - female Aussie/ACD x - Princess's dad passed away. Her mom has

health problems and could no longer care for her. Now Princess too may die.

Strip - young female Aussie/ACD - only 6 months old, great w/kids and other

dogs

Sunny - Male Yellow Lab/Shar Pei x - badly abused at a human's hands, yet

still trusting and full of love

Thomas - adult male Great Dane/GSD mix - been at the shelter a very long

time - EXTREMELY URGENT!

Tia - young femaleWhippet/Hound mix - abandoned and alone

Violet - beautiful female Lab Mix with a wonderful temperament. Big dogs are

all very urgent!

Whiskey - very friendly male Rottweiler mix

Willie - male Beagle x

Atlas - senior male Husky - needs help soon.

Fuzzy Wuzzy - cute male Australian Shepherd

Bear - male Rottweiler

Lady - female Beagle/Brittany spaniel x - her family couldn't keep her, now

she may die.

Gus - adult male Black Lab - a BEAUTIFUL big guy!

The boxer babies - male boxer/lab mix pups - very cute!

Scooby - small female fuzzy Terrier - adorable

Pretty Gill - a gorgeous Yellow Lab mix, and her babies, Butch and Sundance

Zeke - young male Black Lab

Ben - Baby Beagle/Hound mix

Pepper - female Bernese Mt Dog pup - cute fuzzy girl

Marie - young female Beagle

Brutus, Honey, and Ashley - three beautiful young collie mixes. Gorgeous

dogs!

 

And that's only a partial list.  There are many, many more!

 

Cats - they have all kinds - young, old, male, female.  Abyssinians, Maine

Coons, an assortment of DSH and DLH. A persian.  More than I can list in

this space.  All of them in URGENT need!

 

The Marion County Humane Society is a high kill facility that destroys

animals in a gas chamber when their time is up.  They are doing their best

to save as many of these pets as possible.  Please, if you can take even

one, they need your help!
