well, hope you are fasting in the company of family..it really to me is about

being with family, and I also view it as an opportinity to cook everything

but " the bird " ...and educate people......seems a more productive way to spend

the day..

Hey Tammy,

 

I meant to post. The original poster was asking about flaxseed oil's

availability in a vegetarian capsule. They are available at various

health food stores from the brand " Health From the Sun " , which makes all

of the various Omega oils in both gelatin and vegetarian capsules. The

vegetarian bottles are much thinner than the gelatin ones. If the store

doesn't have the veggie one you want, you can usually have them order it.

The flaxseed, 90 capsules, is about $10.

There is vegan-capsuled vegan-DHA (an important omega-3, sometimes not converted from flaxseed in large enough quantities (http://www.vegansociety.com/html/food/nutrition/e_fatty_acids.php)); they are available at http://www.veganessentials.com (search for "O-Mega-Zen3 vegan DHA supplement") and perhaps other places (my wife took an occasional one during pregnancy (the fetus is always OK because s/he takes the DHA from the mother's brain!)).
