month we have 2 great group vegetarian packages.

Alaska -With over a million tourists coming to visit Alaska wildlife

it is no wonder that people just want to see the last of the pristine

wilderness that it has to offer.

on earth. But if culture and history are your passion then you are

equally well catered for.

Club Veg Alaska-Aug. 14-22, 2004

This custom designed itinerary includes Alaska's premier off the

beaten path destinations. On this trip we will look for whales and

other wildlife in Kenai Fjords National Park; camp near and walk on a

glacier in the Matanuska Valley; visit a ghost town in Wrangell St.

Elias National Park and have the option to sea kayak to a calving

glacier near Valdez. Our journey wraps up with a scenic ferry cruise

across the world famous Prince William Sopast the massive Columbia

Glacier.

Your travel experience will be enhanced with all Vegan meals. These

will be prepared fresh in the field by our experienced trip cook.

Meals will occur outdoors picnic style within our screened in and

heated (if necessary) custom kitchen tents conveniently located near

our lodging facilities. Pre trip dialogue with trip participants will

ensure foods are nutritious, tasty and fulfilling.

This trip is designed to appeal to the active traveler who desires

the opportunity to explore Alaska's treasures outdoors and away from

the typical mass tourist. We have included a few must do activities

and have left two full days free from scheduled activities so you can

choose what you want to do (with our advice and assistance of

course). Our professional guides, extensive pre-trip planning, and

efficient systems ensure each trip is conducted with the attention to

detail that you're once in a lifetime visit to Alaska deserves.

extrodinary adventure. This is an all vegetarian cycling trip but one

that can be taken by most anyone.

The Lower Wye Valley in the southern Welsh Borders is a fascinating

landscape peppered with black & white cottages, ivy-clad castles, and

apple orchards. Nestling between the Cotswolds to the east and the

Black Mountains to the west, it is a half-forgotten gem.

Meandering country lanes lead to Kilpeck Church with its saucy pagan

carvings; Skenfrith, Grossmont and Goodrich castles; the strangely-

deserted Dore Abbey; the picturesque Symonds Yat gorge; the Forest of

Dean; and a tour of the absolutely extraordinary Hellens - a tudor

house crammed with 400 years of memorabilia and paintings.

We stay at Poulstone Court, a Victorian country house which is now

used as a comfortable residential centre, near Ross-on-Wye. The house

is a splendid place to relax and unwind, with its large sunny lounge

and sweeping views across the meadows to the River Wye. It is only a

5-minute stroll over the fields to the little iron suspension bridge

which crosses the river.
