Guest guest
The highly discounted early registration rate for the Animal Rights 2004 national conference closes on February 29th. Please visit AR2004.org and take advantage of the current rate. The conference will be held on July 8-12 at the Sheraton Premiere Hotel in Vienna, VA, just outside the nation's capital. This facility is larger than our previous ones and offers reduced room rates and more amenities, including free dog beds. A thousand participants are expected. A hundred speakers representing 60 organizations will present at 90 sessions. They include Lorri Bauston, Steve Best, Lawrence Carter Long, Karen Davis, Caryn Ginsberg, Michael Greger, Alex Hershaft, Steve Hindi, Elliot Katz, Howard Lyman, Anthony Marr, Jim Mason, lauren Ornelas, Dan Piraro, Norm Phelps, Heidi Prescott, Sherry Schlueter, Paul Shapiro, Paul Watson, and Zoe Weil. The program structure will be more concise than in the past, allowing more time for socializing and networking. The program will begin with the opening reception and plenary on Thursday evening and close with the Sunday evening banquet. A number of post-conference activities including lobbying, demonstrations, seminars, and special interest meetings are planned by several groups for Monday, July 12. In this crucial election year, we expect a superb conference. Your presence is more important than ever. Be there for the animals and bring a friend!
