Guest guest
>>Does anyone here know a vegan doctor for animals? No matter where in the world. That's an interesting question, and with your permission, I'd like to propose this to several AR groups I know of. Personally, I'm profoundly suspicious of many vets, some of whom, I am sure, sell animals for experimentation. mEAt iS mUrdEr -- dAIrY iS rApE <pelagus wrote: Hi! Guest guest
Hi, I am a veterinary technician in Minneapolis Minnesota. Although I don't know any veterinarians or techs who are vegan, or vegitarian for that matter I am a strict vegan and my co-workers are very respectful of my views. There are many practices relating to veterinary medicine that I do not agree with or participate in, however I would challenge the idea that any veterinarian would sell animals into research. Just like in any profession there are plenty of unethical doctors who should not be trusted but it is unfair to label the entire profession based on the minority. I strongly believe that many veterinary staff are in the wrong field or have allowed their training to change their ideals relating to animal wellfair, those doctors are out numbered by those of us who are there to protect and comfort our patients. -mplsmf > > >>Does anyone here know a vegan doctor for animals? Dear Mindy: If you will notice, I think I was very careful to qualify my remarks: " I'm profoundly suspicious of many vets, some of whom, I am sure, sell animals for experimentation. " In other words, I'm suspicious of " many " and only " some " of which sell ...etc. I never labeled the entire profession -- and for the very reasons you mention, and because of ethical doctors like yourself.
