Yes, I do have a full belly; and so do you. I`m not speaking to a starving

African. In fact, you are exacerbating the problem of famine by arguing for

meat-eating, since the cash crops grown in the third world go to feed the

livestock here in the west that you eat. By patronising the meat industry, you

assist in the exploitation of the poor and help also the pharmaceutical

conglomerates etc., which have a vested interest in maintaining high levels of

disease, which are down to meat-eating.

 

 

 

As to “encouraging animals to become vegetarian”, you want it both ways. You

think humans are essentially superior to other animals; then you point to other

(carnivorous) animals, equating them with us!

 

It is a far cry from the hunting of prey by carnivorous animals (and by early

humans), and by the “omnivorous” chimps you referred to, to the patronising of

the capitalist modern factory-farmed meat industry! Continuing to give your

custom to factory farming, you are behaving irresponsibly here in the 21st

century, on all counts: both in assisting the exploitation of other humans and

the exploitation of nonhuman animals too. Your 19th century Marxism needs a

total rethink, out of its 19th century “the natural world is here to be

ruthlessly exploited by humans” to a 21st century awareness : because you are

forgetting that Marxism is a dynamic, not a static.

 

In fact, it doesn`t surprise me that you and the Christian John Henry make

common cause against me and against Shelley etc. The Bible enjoins full

exploitation by man of the natural world, which is here to serve, the religious

say, Man, who is “made in God`s image” (See Jim Mason: AN UNNATURAL ORDER). You

both share the same dominionist viewpoint.

 

 

 

John Henry not only approves of meat-farming, but of torture too ~ need I remind

you all ~ since he has eaten dog, has been informed of what the farming of

dog-meat involves, and says he would happily eat dog again. And he may also call

me again to threaten me on the phone ~ and, I dare say, will have your full
