Guest guest
A buddy I know (who lives in Romania) asked me if Avon and Oriflame products are tested on animals, and if they contain animal derived ingredients. As I did not know the answer to this, I thought I would see if anyone else does. She would like to buy Avon and Oriflame products as they are cheap and delivered straight to the home, but she will not if they are tested on animals and/or they are not vegan. If anyone knows about these two companies, I would be grateful if you could pass on the information, Thanks.
Guest guest
Hi, Avon does contain animal ingredients. I phoned their headquarters, and was told that they try to non animal when they can, but, they can't guarantee it, and believe they do contain products derived from cows. I threw out all my Avon cosmetics after that!! Guest guest
Hi, I know Avon does not test on animals or uses any animal ingredients. I use Avon myself, because they are animal friendly. as for oriflame I'm not sure but I have a list someplace listing all animal friendly companies I'll take a look for you. Guest guest
Hello, Peta list indicates that Avon company doesn't conduct animal testing, however their product is not vegan. Here's the complete Peta list on companies, and chareties, that do and don't test on animals. http://www.caringconsumer.com/searchcompany.html veganseer <argyw wrote: A buddy I know (who lives in Romania) asked me if Avon and Oriflame products are tested on animals, and if they contain animal derived ingredients. Guest guest
> > Hi Chris, Avon told me they DO use animal ingredient, although they do not test on animals. If you read the label ingredients on any of their products, you can see they do contain products derived from cows. They try to get you with their " we do not test on animals " stuff, but, check out the ingredient labels...many, many animal ingredients!
