Guest guest
Caring Activists Against Fur All the caring activists against fur Fantastic news!!!!! After protests in the UK and Europe, and with the imminent international day of action, Zara have pulled fur from most of their stores world-wide and plan to be fur free as a company by the end of December 2004. This is a massive victory for the international animal rights movement... Obviously the demos have been called off on Saturday, but we still plan to have an international anti-fur day of action on this Saturday, so if groups want to organize anti-fur demos in their towns, that would be great. Selfridges is the next target in the UK but they only have stores in Manchester, London and Birmingham so if any group don't have anything local (great in itself!!) and would like to join up with other demos, please get in touch and I can give details. Excellent work everyone!!!! Louise CAFT-UK Saturday is still on please meet us at 101 5th ave (near 18th street) from 12-2pm. We will be leafleting in the area. Your help is needed.
