Guest guest
Help Tribe of Heart Make the Fresno, California Screening of Peaceable Kingdom a SUCCESS! On Saturday, Oct. 16th, our community has an exciting opportunity to bring the message of compassion for farm animals to the heart of a major U.S. agricultural district. Peaceable Kingdom, a film that is transforming the public's perception of farm animals and the people who care about them, will be screening in Fresno, California at the historic Tower theater (show starts at 7:00 p.m.). Attending this event will be producer James LaVeck and documentary subjects Howard " Mad Cowboy " Lyman and Farm Sanctuary co-founder Lorri Bauston. Hosted by The Central Valley Coalition for Animals, this screening offers a rare chance for the truth about farmed animal abuse to be shared publicly in a community that is immersed in animal agriculture. Test screening results have shown that even in rural communities with generations of farming tradition, Peaceable Kingdom has the potential to shift entrenched points of view and offers powerful support to pro-animal members of the community who often feel isolated. At a recent screening, one viewer said, “My switch in my heart has been turned back on. I just didn’t know! Never again will I do anything that will support the suffering of an animal.” Another said, “I grew up on a cattle ranch. My uncle wouldn’t eat any of his herd. When we sold calves, the cows cried for days. Because of this film, I will not eat meat again.” Please help Tribe of Heart and The Central Valley Coalition for Animals fill the house by attending this special event, and by personally inviting as many people as you can to take part in this opportunity for change!
