I've been a couple of times and it was nice - bought some trainers, drank

some wine, supported my local organic vegan shop which usually has a stall

there. Not sure if it's worth travelling that far - depends how many vegans

you know where you are.

The first time I went was really good, because I didn't know any other

vegans apart from the people from the local shop. The festival usually has

free talks about stuff like raw-food diets, and last time there was a really

nice wandering busker playing her own songs

I guess a lot of the londonites from here will be going?

Hi all,

I must have missed it, but could someone please tell me where and when this

vegan festival is happening?

It was yesterday!!! and there were loads of beautfiul

vegans there. After eating and drinking and chatting

our fill, a bunch of us went to a nearby pub that

serves Samuel Smith ales afterwards, and then to a

curry house near Angel tube which does £2.99 all you

can eat - superb.

Overall it was a fantastic day and lovely to be

surrounded by so many vegans.

Shame you missed it but oh well, there's always next

year.

In the meantime there is World Vegan Day (November

1st), and Christmas without Cruelty (sometime in

December) and a few other similar events interspersed

throughout the year. Others here might know a bit

more about these.
