Guest guest
are you in the states? you going to both places? My dream is to go to london, take the Eurostar Train, to Paris. Since my kid is obsesssed with Trains. I got a book at Barnes and Nobles in 2002, called TimeOut Paris. I found it to be very useful and it's got a vegetarian section of restaurants. But in any case, there are some reaally good Farmers Markets in Paris, the one I went to was on Rue Mouffetard. where are the londoners in this gruop? they might be able to better answer question. - Bill Dennehy 2/14/2005 12:11:37 PM Vegan in Paris or London? Guest guest
There is no vegan/vegetarian city in England. I wish there was. There are some towns that are better than others - Brighton and Glastonbury being the best. Guest guest
There's only a couple of 'vegan' restaurants in London and none in Paris. However there are lots of great vegetarian restaurants with vegan options in both cities. My current favs in Central London are as follows. Details on location etc are here: http://www.happycow.net/europe/england/london/index.html Chi Vegan Noodle Bar on St Martin's Lane (for dinner) Maoz Falafel on Old Compton St (fast food lunch) Red Veg on Dean St (fast food lunch) Eat and Two Veg (dinner) Further out there's Manna in Camden area, Rasa in Stoke Newington and a few more. Probably better if you described what you are looking for (cheap or posh)and I can point you in the right direction. Paris details are here: http://www.happycow.net/europe/france/paris/index.html My favs are: Le Grenier de Notre-Dame Maoz Falafel Things change in Paris all the time. Restaurants come and go. Best to keep your eyes peeled for new places when walking around town. --- Bill Dennehy <upkerry11 wrote: > > Does anyone know of good Vegan restaurants in London > or Paris? > Thanks, bill > > > > _________ ALL-NEW Messenger - all new features - even more fun! http://uk.messenger. I'm not aware of any complete cities which are vegetarian - some are better than others at catering for vegans... BB Peter
