Guest guest
i have asked at both large and small/rep theatres in canada, and the popcorn is always popped in coconut/palm oil. that is what gives it that yellow, butter-like colour. it also gives it a buttery kind of taste, imo, which is nice if you don't like dry popcorm. so, if you get it without " topping " , it is vegan (even if the topping isn't actual butter, i have found it always has dairy of some type in it). brandy --- renaerokicki wrote: > > > Great question! Guest guest
I went to the movies in two places and the popcorn oil they put on it all sounded ok. Until I read natural flavors on the last line. I was thinking that could be from butter or something, so I left it off. carol > i have asked at both large and small/rep theatres in canada, and the > popcorn is always popped in coconut/palm oil. that is what gives it > that yellow, butter-like colour. it also gives it a buttery kind of > taste, imo, which is nice if you don't like dry popcorm. so, if you > get it without " topping " , it is vegan (even if the topping isn't > actual butter, i have found it always has dairy of some type in it). How many grams of fat do they contain. If only you could get air popped popcorn.
