i have asked at both large and small/rep theatres in canada, and the

popcorn is always popped in coconut/palm oil. that is what gives it

that yellow, butter-like colour. it also gives it a buttery kind of

taste, imo, which is nice if you don't like dry popcorm. so, if you

get it without " topping " , it is vegan (even if the topping isn't

actual butter, i have found it always has dairy of some type in it).

I went to the movies in two places and the popcorn oil they put on it

all sounded ok. Until I read natural flavors on the last line. I was

thinking that could be from butter or something, so I left it off.

Of course they are incredibly unhealthy. How many grams of fat do they

contain.

If only you could get air popped popcorn.
