San Diego Animal Advocates: Will you please encourage your members to attend directly after your viewing of Peaceable Kingdom? A candlelight vigil of 707 CANDLES will be held in San Diego to (1) honor animals who are tortured and die brutal deaths every day for the purpose of human consumption and (2) to raise awareness about this atrocity on Meat-Out weekend. DATE: Saturday, 19 March SET-UP: 6:00 PM VIGIL: 7:00-8:00 (or until the press leaves) PM LOCATION: Coast BLVD & Girard AVE, overlooking the beach in La Jolla COST: $5 donation ACTION: We will display 707 candles, distribute information and host the press. NOTE: 707 candles will represent one, one-thousandth of the number of animals killed for human consumption in San Diego County alone each day.
