The screening will be at 9 p.m. at the Egyptian Theater, 6712 Hollywood Blvd. Tickets are $9. The second annual Artivist Film Festival will feature 70 films from 26 countries. It aims to raise awareness for international human rights, children's advocacy, environmental preservation and animal advocacy. The festival, which kicked off Wednesday, runs through Sunday. With hidden cameras and never-before-seen footage, " Earthlings " chronicles the day-to-day practices of some of the largest industries in the world, all of which rely on animals for profit.
