Dear Health is Wealth,

 

I wrote to you back on March 17 about the change in your " Chicken-Free

Nuggets " from a vegan recipe to one that contained On one of the vegan

discussion groups I participate in, I just heard that you have decided to

change your Chicken-Free Nugget and Patty back to the original vegan recipe.

I was told that the products will be available in stores within the next few

months, and that the package will state VEGAN and ORIGINAL RECIPE. I just

want to say thank you so much for responding to the vegan community this

way. We will certainly support your company by purchasing this product

again!

Disappointed in Your " Chic " Nuggets

 

 

To Whom It May Concern:

 

I am writing to express my disappointment in Health is Wealth's change of

the vegetarian " chicken " nugget product.

 

I am a vegan, and I am the founder and president of Compassionate Kids,

Inc., a non-profit organization that helps teach children compassion towards

the Earth, People, and Animals. Since many people adopt a strict vegetarian

(vegan) diet for ethical, we serve vegan food at our Compassionate Kids

events. I was seeking a good vegan " chicken " nugget product to serve and

promote at our events, so I sent out a request for recommendations. I

submitted this request to numerous vegan e-list discussion groups around the

country. I consistently heard back from vegans everywhere saying that you

used to have great vegan " chic " nuggets, but that you have changed the

recipe to include egg. These people used to consume your product, but

instead directed me to other companies such as " Mon Cuisine. " I just thought

you'd like to be aware of the consumers' responses I have been exposed

recently.

 

If you have plans to return to a vegan recipe for this product in the

future, please let me know and I will help promote it nationwide.
