On Thursday, October 5, in Los Angeles, CA, the Animals and Society Institute,

Culture and Animals Foundation and Farm Sanctuary invite you to an intimate

evening with three leading authors of the animal protection movement: Jeffrey

Masson, author of When Elephants Weep, Tom Regan, author of Empty Cages and

Matthew Scully, author of Dominion. Join us for cocktails and vegan hors

d’oeuvres, a book signing and meet the authors.

Registration:

The conference package features all three days of presentations plus five

vegan meals, all for one low, all-inclusive price.

Early registration (through Aug. 31): $139 per person

Regular registration (Sept. 1-29): $169 per person

Animals and Society Institute members (all times): $139

All registrations and payments must be received by September 29, 2006.

Discounted room rates at the Renaissance Montura Hotel are $94 per night

single or double (plus tax); call toll-free to (888) 293-0523 and mention “The

Strength of Many” conference. Rooms must be reserved by September 24 to get the

discounted rate. Prices are valid for the nights of October 6, 7 and 8 so that

attendees can take advantage of the Columbus Day holiday weekend. There is a

free shuttle from Los Angeles International Airport.

Exhibit tables are available for $200 each for nonprofit groups and $400 each

for for-profit businesses; call (410) 675-4566 to reserve space or click on the

registration link to pay online. Tables must be staffed by registered attendees.
