Guest guest
Hey everybody! Come join our TARS volunteers this Saturday, December 16th from 3-4:30 pm at Yonge/Dundas Square for an anti-fur leafletting and OVED (Outdoor Video Education Display) demo! For those not familiar with it, the Outdoor Video Education Display is, essentially, a monitor and dvd setup used to show passersby different media footage of what goes on in the animal " industries " . It's a great way to get people's attention as they go by and it's not uncommon to have groups of people stop to watch the horrific images on the screen which, of course, makes getting the information into their hands that much easier. The extremely high volume of shoppers in the Yonge/Dundas area at this time of year also gives us a perfect opportunity to try and educate them to the horrors of this cruel industry so that, hopefully, they leave fur off their shopping lists forever! Full-colour leaflets will, of course, be provided! Hope to see many of you there! Best, Paul
