Guest guest
Hi: I just join the list. I am now more into a vegetarian lover. However, it is still difficult to get rid of meet and fish occasionally even though I know it is not healthy. Is there any way to avoid it completely? Guest guest
HI Gloria, All in good time, you'll eventually find you are having meat and fish less and less. Don't force yourself - take it one step at a time. And don't beat yourself up if you do eat meat. Cheers. Guest guest
Hiya, Gloria! I feel your pain, believe me!!!! One thing that I have found effective is using some meat and dairy substitutes, like SmartDogs, Boca Burgers, Chik Patties, and tofu cheese. I have yet to find a good milk substitute, so I still use milk in my cereal, but I use Silk Milk for cooking. Also remember, the meat substitutes usually cost 3 or 4 times more than real meat, and they're not neccessarily healthier. Some of them have artificial flavors and colors, and preservatives. Just something to think about....... " Helen West " <hwest HI Gloria, All in good time, you'll eventually find you are having meat and fish less and less.
