Guest guest
Rose, I have a really neat huge cookbook called " The American Vegetarian Cookbook from the Fit For Life Kitchen " by Marilyn Diamond. It is almost vegan I think. There are many neat recipies for making your own " milks " from almonds, melons, and even bananas. One I think you might like in your coffee is the cashew " cream " I don't drink coffee though so I have no idea how it would taste. I have made the almond milk and it's pretty tasty. I am really enjoying the almond milk I get at the market though. It's from Blue Diamond and has calcium, vit. A and D added and comes in vanilla, regular, or chocolate. The chocolate is almost like a candy bar and is a treat for my kids who can't do dairy. I can't do chocolate though because I'm allergic to it. What to do with the leftover stuff from making milks- with almond milk, you can use the grit as a scrubby cleanser. The cookbook has other suggestions too. How do you do your Tai Chi? Do you take a class, use a video, a book? I took a class in college and loved it, but haven't gotten back into it because I forgot everything. Kathy B.
