these moist cookies dont crumb all over the place (great for toddlers who

want to walk around and eat)

also toddler can help bake these cookies (no egg in the batter, to worry

about)

and the ingredients are usually on hand in most folks homes!

3 cups oatmeal

1/2 cup pumpkin

(can be applesauce or other puree or even omitted if more bananas added)

1-2 ripe bananas for sweetness (I like 2 better)

1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional, I like it better with cinnamon, ds has no

preference)

bake at 350 for about 15minutes on lightly oiled pan/cookie sheet or what

have you

other optional ingrediants (which to my taste makes it even yummier, but tazz

doesn't share my thoughts on this matter since he doesn't like raisons)

other kinds of spices such as

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (tazz doesn't seem to notice one way or another)

sage is also a good spice for this recipe but I rarel

or cup of raisons or other fruit --yummy mango, pineapple

(but please, don't use pineapple for SocalAP get-togethers because joan is

allergic, and most babies should avoid citric acid until they are well over a

year old-I got a sister full of allergies because I loved the face she made

when she was a baby when I gave her a taste of sour things, and now my sister

cannot digest fructose properly- however she is ok with sucrose, maltose and

glucose)

(sorry for the side track, back to cookie making)

You can throw in left over cereal and what not (i love nuts but fear the

choke hazard for tazz, I threw a failed pie into one batch of cookies)

veggies are good to add such as carrots/zuccini etc

experiment and have fun!
