Guest guest
Hi Christine, Before I made the transition to vegan I did a lot of research. Most of the stuff I found on the net made it very easy to declare a vegan life (the animal cruelty sites are pretty explicit). Anyway for breakfast I eat oatmeal, fresh fruit, fruit smoothies, etc. I'm gradually working my way towards becoming a raw foodist, which takes about a year to successfully convert. My biggest problem was with ice cream, HOWEVER, I found this *GREAT* ice cream replacement called RICE DREAM. It's non-dairy and totally vegan and delicious! They carry beverages (the chocolate flavor is yummy) and frozen desserts. Some grocery stores carry it and most health food stores do. If you go to this website http://www.imaginefoods.com it will give you a list of places in your area that may carry this brand. Since I've been a vegan I've noticed a huge difference in the way I look and feel. My skin has a healthier glow, I feel tons better as I have better stamina and I'm in a better mood. So don't get discouraged. Good luck to you.. ;-) Dolly >Hi folks, > >I am new to your list. I am wanting to make the switch to a vegan >diet, but it seems so difficult.
