vegan cheese

Hello everyone!

 

I'm on a search for veggie cheese that actually tastes

good. I've tried those individually wrapped slices of

cheddar, mozzarella, etc., and they are just like the

crap in other " processed " regular cheese products

(which I refused to eat since childhood...).

 

Cheese (regular) is one of my total faves, and I'm

REALLY having a tough time giving it up. AND, my

consciousness is screaming because I know dairy is one

of the meanest animal products to consume.

 

Can anyone help me with brand names, where to get GOOD

vegan cheese, etc?? I'd even order over the 'net, but

I'm not sure how cheese fares in the mail!

(eeeewwww!!) I'm in the SF bay area if that makes a

difference.

PS - thanks for asking about/posting in response to

the sour cream recipe - looks great!! Will be

excellent on my true vegan cheese quesadilla! (mmmmmmmmm)
