I am looking for a recipe for a birthday cake for my

son's first birthday. It must be festive-looking, yet

safe for a 1-yr-old. ( He may not even taste it--so

far he only likes avocado & cheerios) Thanks!

Hi there! Congrats on your son's birthday!

I have a few simple recipies I can give to you (from

" How It All Vegan " ), but they are from scratch. VERY

easy, mind you. I am NO baker, but I did these two to

prefection :)

And you must also make your own icing/frosting, but

that's not too hard.

BTW in case you do not want to do the latter, you

could always make the cake, then use vegan frosting on

it, already made. A company called " Celebration " in my

hometown of Sacramento, CA, makes it. It shouldn't be

too hard to come across.

Let me know how if I can get you one/a few recipies.

And feel free to email me privately at

herbalginger.
