Hi, everyone. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good substitute for

buttermilk. I've been wanting to try a few recipes for breads out of the

Moosewood books, and while I've found some great vegan alternatives for most

things, buttermilk is kind of a weird one. Any suggetions?

Thanks!

Nicole

to substitute buttermilk I use 1 cup of soy-milk + 1 tbsp of vinegar ( a

mild one) - it works very very well
