Guest guest Posted November 5, 2000 Report Share Posted November 5, 2000 Cranberry-Pear Pie 5 cups pears, peeled and cored, cut into 1/4-inch slices 1 1/2 cups cranberries, fresh or frozen 4 Tbsp. sugar (or alternative) 1 Tbsp. non-dairy margarine 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 deep-dish pie crust 1/2 cup sugar or raw cane sugar 1/2 cup non-dairy margarine 3/4 cup flour Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place pears, cranberries, sugar, margarine, and cinnamon in a large bowl and stir well, making sure pears are evenly coated with cinnamon. Place mixture in unbaked piecrust. For topping, crumble sugar, margarine, and flour. Sprinkler over pie, covering completely. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 30 minutes, until crumb topping is golden brown and fruits are soft.
