Guest guest Posted November 7, 2000 Report Share Posted November 7, 2000 Pecan Pie 2 cups date pieces 1 1/2 cups hot water 1 tsp. maple flavoring 2 Tbsp. cornstarch unbaked piecrust 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup 1 1/2 cups pecan halves Blend first four ingredients until smooth. Pour into unbaked piecrust. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 15 minutes. Heat honey or maple syrup in microwave for 30 seconds. Coat pecans with honey and arrange glazed nuts on baked pie.
