Guest guest
Is Tofurky vegan, though? I was really surprised to find out that most " veggie burgers " contain egg whites, whey, and other animal products. Is it the same here, too? Guest guest
Ok, we have seen 2 different " Turkeys " at our local health food store that are all set up like a Thanksgiving turkey. I need opinions if anyone has tried either brand. One brand is the 'Tofurky', it comes " stuffed " and even has " drumettes " or something. The other brand is " Now & Zen " it is also like the tofurky, but it's a 3 lb " turky " with gravy. I don't really care what each has to offer, we can make our own stuffing, but I wanted to know if anyone had tries either brand and if so which taste better? The prices are only different by a few pennies so price is not a matter either. Tonight we did buy some 'Now & Zen' " chicken " breasts and the 'Tofurky' brand drumettes by themselves and we are going to see which brand comes close to being better tasting. But if anyone has tried either or both brands, plese post opinions. Thanks! + Hope + Hip SAHM to: Raina Louise (8/22/99) ~ Baby Pickle (2/??/01) Loving Partner and Best Friend to: My Soulmate Jason instinctive parenting, natural living, cloth diapering, gentle discipline, no vaccines, family bed, vegan diet, gentle birth, alternative lifestyle, Christian family. The ONLY meatless products I have seen here that are truely vegan are Health & Wealth, Now & Zen and the Tofurky, so far...
