Guest guest
Good day gang! After all the posts Re: Tofurky, I had to try it. Our local co-op had it (the grocer said it was sent in error). Well, it was, what can I say.....just ok....it wasn't delicous...just ok... but when you put the " giblit " gravy on, that really makes a difference. I will try it today as a sandwich. I think I would rather make a vegan Thankgiving feast without trying to imitate the Turkey. Secondly, I made way too many mnashed potatoes last night, any suggestions? Like potatoe cakes? I have only made them with eggs and milk... thanks! Jill P.S. I live on the most western end of the Columbia river ( where the river and the Pacific Ocean meet, and " Tofurky " is made in Hood River, Oregon which is about a 4 hour drive from me, up river (East) in one of the greatest windsurfing places in the country....just a little tidbit for ya all.....
