Here's the pecan pie recipe I'll be using for Thanksgiving dinner. I don't

know if it is anything you are interested it, but it is pretty simple. I " ll

be using the maple syrup variation. Happy Holidays! LaDonna

 

 

Pecan Pie

 

2 cups date pieces

1 1/2 cups hot water

1 tsp. maple flavoring

2 Tbs.. cornstarch

unbaked pie crust

1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup)

1 1/2 cups pecan halves

 

Blend first four ingredients until smooth. Pour into unbaked pie crust.

Bake at 350 degrees F. for 15 minutes. Heat honey (or maple syrup) in

microwave for 30 seconds. Coat pecans with honey and arrange glazed nuts on

baked pie.

 

Serves: 8

Calories per serving: 221
