Guest guest
<<<I know this reply is pretty late, but I hope it's of some help I've been taking Central-Vite multi-vitamins, the Rite Aid brand. They're reasonably cheap and contain a lot of different vitamins and minerals, with only a couple of " overdoses " , the maximum being double the recommended daily value. From what I've read, doctors often prescribe people 10 times the regular daily value when the patient has a deficiency, so I'm not too worried about _small_ increases in the recommended amount (and remember, it is only recommended).>>> A while back I used to run a health food store and want to comment on the above post. I'm by no means a scientist, a sales and marketing guy is more like it, but I would be very, very leary of buying rite aid brand vitamins. The regulations are still very weak and you don't know what you are getting. I would suggest going to your local health food store, a co-op if one is available, and speaking with their supplement buyer. My favorite brand is source of life and they make great multis but they do have bee pollen. So that's no good for you no bee product vegans. Anyway, go and take a look and speak with the buyer. And as far as having " overdose " amounts, and again, do your research, but most of that will simply get peed out. Good luck. Love, JP ps: this is a great time of year, with silk nog available and all! ______________________________\ _____ Get more from the Web. Guest guest
I'm taking my gel cap antibiotics and replacing them with vegi caps. Do you know if the pharmacy or manufacturers would give us this choice? What do you guys do?
