Guest guest Posted January 4, 2001 Report Share Posted January 4, 2001 3 cups water 1/4 cup rolled oats 1/4 cup nutritional yeast flakes 1/4 cup tahini 1/4 cup arrowroot powder 2 T lemon juice 1/8 tsp. tumeric powder 2 T onion, minced (or 1 T onion powder) 1/2 T tamari or soy sauce 1 tsp. basil or herb(s) of choice (oregano, thyme & dill work well) dash cayenne 1 garlic clove, chopped (optional) Put everything into a blender and blend until very smooth. Pour into a small saucepan and heat until boiling, stirring with a whisk until thick on low heat. Yields 4 cups.
