Guest guest
I've used toffutti as a replacer when making cream cheese icing and have even fooled people with it. The only problem with it was that it was a sort of light grey color because I used an evaporated cane juice " powdered sugar " instead of the standard white... But it was delicious... And again, I don't want to promote toffuti heavily because I know it's made with junk but it does work. Guest guest
Welcome, Suzy! I wanted to recommend to you Joanna Lund's crockpot cookbook -- A Potful of Recipes. All of hers are low fat, etc. It's not totally vegetarian, but there are many vegetarian recipes. I posted lots of recipes from her cookbook awhile back. You could do a search in the message archives (/messages). If you put in " A Potful of Recipes " as the search criteria, you will find them. To All: Sorry for my recent absenteeism from the list. I've just had various things going on. . . will post again as soon as I can.
