Guest guest
I would also be interested in the pudding recipe but am also interested in other flavours too. We have a ok chocolate one but chocolate is something I avoid now. Perhaps I can play around with our chocolate pudding recipe and see if I can come up with a vanilla pudding. Anyone know how to make butterscotch? Also does anyone have a recipe for vegan or vegetarian ice cream that is like traditional icecream, smooth, creamy etc. I do have a recipe for icecream and have made up recipes for vanilla, strawberry (non cooked fruit) and chocolate. I also tried to get it more like regular icecream by ordering some locust bean gum and carregean (spelling must be off) to help with the consistency and make it less icy etc. but I haven't been able to use it properly to make good icecream. Any suggestions? Thanks Brian > > There is 1 message in this issue. > > Topics in this digest: > > 1. Guest guest
The Instant Jello puddings (not the cooked) do not have milk, eggs or gelatin in them. I just buy those, and then add soymilk and silken tofu (50/50). Guest guest
Do you use soy milk or tofu or both? If both in what amts?I have the mori-nu mixes but obviously the others would be cheaper. Have you tried them with Rice milk. Family prefers to soy! Guest guest
I don't measure. A block of silken tofu and enough milk to make it the pudding consistency that you like. If you use just soy milk, it doesn't set properly, so that is why you should add both. I don't see a problem with using rice milk instead of soy milk. And yes, it's much cheaper than Mori Nu 'mates Pam - Robin <leanna1 Monday, February 05, 2001 2:33 PM Re: Pudding/Icecream recipes? > Do you use soy milk or tofu or both?
