I don't see any reason not to give this to your daughter. However, I would

recommend asking a nutritionist what you could add to the recipe to add

vitamins to it. The almonds add iron and calcium, but you may want to add

some vitamin A, C & D. Beware though... the nutritionist (like any doctor)

will try to talk you into giving your daughter cows milk, irregardless of

the reason you don't give it to her.

You can also try the oatmeal milk;

1 banana

1 cup cooked oatmeal

2 cups warm water

1 teaspoon vanilla

Blend all ingredients in blender til smooth. Here's the nutritional info on

this one;

Vitamin A 3% Vitamin C 16 %

Calcium 4% Iron 16%
