Guest guest
I recently read that Rapadura is the only unrefined sugar left. Is this not true?? Anymore info on the FDA not allowing it? I'm interested to find out more about that (I suspect it has something to do with an unamed industry having its hands in an unamed gov't. agency's pockets ;-) ). I have also used agave nectar and enjoy it, it is most cost effective if you can buy it in bulk, I find (but finding agave that way is tricky). I wish they sold brown rice syrup or grain malt sweeteners in bulk!! I have bought some stevia powder, but I have yet to try it in baking. Anyone have experience with it or any advice? Guest guest
Is stevia good in fresh lemonade? The raw sugar calories are too much! I have the liquid, but don't use it much. Maureen
Guest guest
I just wanted to bring this to your attention- a friend of mine called me up and told me that stevia as a sweetener had been outlawed internationally. I don't remember all of the details, but it was enough to convince me not to try it. I think she also said that the FDA had banned it or something. In any case, I would at least look into this if I were you before starting to use it. Good luck! :?) ---- úçéìú ääåãòä äî÷åøéú ---- îàú: " Maureen & Dale Smith " <maureen ðùìç:Tue, 13 Feb 2001 15:56:46 -0800 àì: ðåùà:Re: Re: sweetners Is stevia good in fresh lemonade? Guest guest
Has anyone tried KiSweet? It is a low glycemic sweetener made from kiwi fruit. It is a big hit around our house!
