Thank you for sharing this, I've been a tad confused about soy lately. Some

act as if it's a miracle product and others act as if it's the most evil

thing since pickled pig feet. Thanks again!

I have also been confused by the dueling soy info...

And I just realized that I think it gives me gas.....yuck..

Could this be true. and does anyone out there have the same reaction?

I don't have a listing of beer that is vegan but, to the best of my

knowledge, many beers are made with gelatin. i guess that by the time the

end product is finished there are no traces left... You can be safe with

any beer brewed under the German purity laws though, that much i'm sure of.

be good, jp

I get gas from soy as well as I understand it's

common to be intolerant to soy. I just get it from soy milk but not other

soy products like cheese or dogs. I like soy milk better then rice milk but

it makes me gassy. I also get gas from all beans. I always figured it was

a bean thing. ???

  • 1 year later...

Hi from another province (Ontario) - what brand or brands do you buy

and/or recommend? I use so little soymilk that I don't really bother

much, but I could convert :=) Anyway, I'd be pleased to use the *best* I

can get when I do use it ;=)

TIA.

best,

pat sant
